Life
From a young age, the irresistible urge to explore the unknown has guided me. This insatiable curiosity has led me through a diverse array of pursuits, each distinguished by its own unique creative response. Whether it was studying the geographical nuances of nuclear refinement site deer, mountaineering through the Himalayan Mountains, teaching K-12 engineering or exploring consciousness through photography, I found that each endeavor profoundly eye opening.
This deep-rooted fascination with the intersections between science, art, and spirituality has not only shaped my professional milestones but also fueled my personal passions and hobbies. I’ve relished the joy and challenges of venturing into the ‘unknown’—forever in pursuit of the next creative breakthrough. This ever-evolving journey forms the nucleus of my mission.
Geographer
My work as a GIS Analyst has been a manifestation of my passion for charting the unknown. I collaborated with the U.S. Department of Energy at the Hanford Site, where I mapped the local deer population living in the nuclear refinement site. Likewise, my work with the Bonobo Conservation Initiative involved using geographic information systems to create crucial data sets that help in the preservation of the endangered species.
Engineer
Inspired by the engineers like Buckminster Fuller, I am driven to understand and creative problem solving through keen observation and critical thinking. While I’ve spent my life as a “tinkerer”, I found my calling as an engineer through education. As the Makerspace Manager—officially dubbed “Tinkerer”—in East Palo Alto and as a mentor at CIJE, I’ve had the privilege to inspire young minds to harness their creativity for real-world problem-solving, just as I was inspired growing up.
Artist
My draw to photography was as much about the technology as it was about the thrill of “capturing THE moment” I’ve tackled a myriad of subjects—from capturing candid moments to highly conceptual art photography. Every project required a unique creative vision, whether it was bringing out a subject’s inner essence or crafting visual narratives. These experiences have honed my ability to adapt and innovate, attributes crucial in the ever-changing realm of visual arts. More…

This venture fuses spirituality, science, and storytelling in the pursuit of exploring our understanding of reality and of being and engage audiences in meaningful dialogue about what it means to be sentient in this universe.
Travel
It not only became a promise to myself but a life style choice to see as much of the world as I can, experience its diverse cultures and biomes and learn from every excursion. I knew that learning about the diversity of humanity and of the Earth itself is vital to sustainable and peaceful living.
Food
Eating is an experience in and of itself. Flavor connects us to place and time. The play of tastes on the tongue can woo the most stoic and the combination of just the right ingredients can remind us of the sweetest of moments. While I do enjoy the creativity and craft of making meals, I enjoy being the privilege of being treated to gastronomic delights.
Wine
Wine is special not just because of it’s complex flavors but because of its story. It isn’t just the history of the entire craft, but each individual bottle. As a Geographer, I am attracted to wine in the context of place. The flavors imbuing the essence of the location from which it was made and geographic pairings enhancing the culinary experience.
