Engage

It takes a village

I strive to understand my world and my place in it to live in balance with the people and Nature that surround me. Not only though are we not alone, we need each other to steward a better world. We need to choose to accept and invite action for positive change and creative response. We can’t afford more damage to this Earth and I am passionate about engaging with my colleagues and peers to make a better world for everyone.

My aim as an educator has always been to educate, enlighten and inspire. My journey as a “Teacher and Interpreter” began at Crossroads, a program at the Windsor Mountain Camp. There I had the privilege of teaching students about the wonders of the outdoors in a breathtaking location. Later, I taught science and engineering at CIJE. As a mentor at CIJE, I guide K-12 teachers in developing robust STEM curriculums by combining innovation with practical learning experiences. In this role,  I have been able to systematically and positively impact  STEM education by fostering a passion for discovery.

Outside the classroom, I have been a museum exhibit interpreter at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. There, exhibits were brought to life making complex scientific and historical concepts accessible and engaging.

In the dynamic world of innovation, collaboration is key. Whether you’re a fellow inventor seeking to bring a groundbreaking idea to market or an industry partner eager to co-create the next big thing, I am here to join forces. My expertise in navigating the complexities of commercialization, combined with a rich network of resources, positions us uniquely to elevate your concepts from mere sketches to market-ready innovations.

If you have an idea that needs refining, a project that requires a unique skill set, or resources that can complement mine, let’s connect. Together, we can unlock new possibilities, combine our strengths, and make a lasting impact in fields as diverse as renewable energy, robotics, and creative arts.
